Is rush limbaugh like the grand wizard of the republican party?

Every time a member of the republican party makes limbaugh mad they have to beg his pardon .Mrs.Palin was not pleased about rush using some statements concerning the use of the word (retard).rush got mad about her being upset about what he said Why should she have to give in to rush limbaugh who is a inconsiderate pig about any and everything. Yes rush I said it and I couldn't care less about what you think ! This woman ran for vice president of the United States and she doesn't have to answer to you for anything ! Maybe that is something that is understood inside the party ,don't mess with rush ,after all look at what happened to micheal steele .That is why I am asking who the hell is rush and why is every republican afraid of him ? What is limbaugh to the republican party ?.After all as micheal steele said ,"he is just an entertainer ". and steel ended up kissing rush limbaugh's a$$ .WHY ???
