Homemade toys for my puppy?

Hes about 6 months old, I would like to know some pretty simple homemade toys for him, like an actual toy lke not a game where theres a bucket and you put an apple in it and get the dog to get the apple.. Maybe a chew toy or a tug-a-war thing?
