Old model Novatron photography lights, 2020, 2010?

I'm trying to set up a small home photography studio and someone has offered their old set of novatron lights for me test out and consider buying - 2 lights, 1 is model #2020 and the other is model #2010. I haven't tried them out yet, the boxes they are in are quite old but the equipment looks good. Also, I don't know if they are strobes or continuous light (can anyone tell me per the model #'s?) - Anyway, was hoping some of the experts could shed some light (pardon the pun) if this is something I should consider or not - I do know I want strobes, not continuous light. Anyone have experience with these models? Thanks so much!
