Powerpoint Presentation Question?

I'm presenting an astronomy project to the cl, in the form of either a PowerPoint movie or a movie. My question is this: is there any way to make the presentation capable of illuminating certain stars on constellations on a star when I click or press the spacebar? Sort of like the Outer Glow effect on Photoshop. It would be a nice addition to my presentation. Any help is appreciated.
