Husband regularly emailing another woman. Is this cheating?

I recently checked my husbands email account to find he has been having regular contact with another woman. They talk about intimate details of our marriage, and also how he feels an attraction to her. It appears most of his interaction with her is in the middle of the night. He sneaks out of bed to chat with her. Would you consider this betrayal and cheating?
