At what age was your child pooping on the potty?

My daughter is 26 months old, and she pees on the potty regularly but does not poop. I put her on at the time she usually poops, and after sitting there for a while (farting) she starts crying and says "she can't" and gets up and ends up pooping on the floor. I don't want to force her to sit on the potty cause I saw my aunt do that with her daughter and she's 7 years old still pooping her pants. I don't want her to rebel. So, my questions are, how old was your child when they pooped on the potty? Van you tell me your potty training story? Any tips? Thanks.
